1 Giving my name and age

In our first unit we are learning in our first week are practising how to meet and greet people as well as learning to spell new words using the French alphabet sounds. 

In the process we will learn a little about France and its geography.

We will not be setting homework in this first unit. However, you can practise the vocabulary here.

The Week 3 Assessment will be a vocabulary test on 15 recently seen phrases and some alphabet sounds too.

In our second unit we are practising to become confident at giving dates and ages.

We will be learning the days, numbers 1-31 and the months of the year. We learn not just to recognise them but to say and spell them correctly.

We will see that every day in France is a Saints'

We have our second assessment next week so revise all work seen so far.

The assessment is a translation task based on all language seen since Week 1 .
