We begin by focussing on French-speaking Countries around the world, learning about the genders of words and practising how to pronounce cognate words.

We are focussing on how to introduce ourself and greet each other. This will involve learning how to pronounce "moi" and "toi" correctly. We will also be learning the "ç" sound.

We are focussing now on how to say days, dates and months as well as learning the key verb phrases "c'est" and "ce n'est pas". The nasal sound "in" will also see lots of practice.

We are learning about how to use adjectives correctly to describe people's personality. This will involve learning the verb 'être' and practising the idea that adjectives must agree.
